Unity Resourcing was never meant to be just another recruitment agency. When our founder, Louise, set it up back in 2014, she had one big ambition:
To build a business that actually cared…
About clients. About candidates. And getting it right for both. With over 20 years of experience under her belt (and a serious knack for matchmaking the right people with the right roles), Louise knew there was a better way. Recruitment that is rooted in relationships. Since day one, Unity Resourcing has been about the details…

I had a fantastic experience working with Kitty, who connected me with an excellent company that i’m now working for. She took the time to really understand what I was looking for and consistently kept me informed throughout the entire process. I never felt out of the loop or uncertain about next steps. Having had less positive experiences with other recruiters in the past, I can confidently say that Kitty—and Unity—stand out for their professionalism, communication, and genuine care for candidates. Thank you, Kitty, for your incredible support!Posted on Nici RoutledgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Re-entering the corporate world after a few years freelancing and WFH was daunting but when I applied for a position with a company managed by Unity Resourcing, Louise and Beth put me straight at ease and made the journey back to the workplace seamless and stress free. From the initial telephone interview with Beth and the face to face with Louise I felt they really ‘got me’ so everything else just followed. What a great experience. Thank you ladies, very happy in my new role. Would highly recommend Unity Resourcing to others. ⭐️Posted on Steven TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We don’t just match CVs to job specs. We meet every client in person, to get under the skin of the role. And we proactively seek out candidates who tick all the right boxes. From first chat to first day, we handle everything with care, clarity and just the right amount of hustle to save you time and get it right. First time.
We’re a small but mighty crew who believe recruitment works best when it’s personal. We bring experience, heart, and a Yorkshire-sized helping of common sense to all we do. And we like to think that makes us pretty great to work with. Here’s who’ll you’ll find behind the phone calls, email threads and coffee cups
Founder & Director
Louise is the powerhouse behind Unity Resourcing. She launched the business in 2014, after years of working in recruitment and realising there must be a more human way to do it.
She’s known for her laser-sharp intuition, her ability to spot the perfect fit (even before the CV lands), and her relentless commitment to our clients and candidates. When she’s not running the show, you’ll find her walking up hills, sipping something delicious (coffee or wine), reading up on the latest wellness trend. Or being followed around by her shadow, Betsy, the office dog. Fun fact: Louise once climbed a mountain in just a t-shirt and shorts, in winter, after dunking herself into an ice bath.
Senior Consultant
Kitty joined us in 2019 (originally as a candidate!). Louise saw something special (as she tends to do) and snapped her up. With a background in customer-focused roles, and a decade in hairdressing before recruitment, Kitty brings an uncanny ability to read people, understand what makes them tick, and match them with roles where they can thriv
She’s bold, brilliantly blunt (in the best possible way) and has a big heart for making people feel seen and supported. She’s also a marathon runner, a champion of ethical recruitment, and proud dog mum to Bamford. Fun fact: Kitty started her career with a love of Irish dancing (performing solo at her school for every St Patrick’s Day!). She’s still got the moves.
Recruitment Resourcer and Admin Extraordinaire
Beth is the newest addition to the team – but you’d never know it. She slotted right in like the missing piece of the puzzle. With a background in customer service, and a natural flair for organisation, she’s the engine that keeps our wheels turning.
Beth is the newest addition to the team – but you’d never know it. She slotted right in like the missing piece of the puzzle. With a background in customer service, and a natural flair for organisation, she’s the engine that keeps our wheels turning. From managing job ads and social posts to supporting candidates through every step of the process, Beth brings energy, kindness, and serious get-it-done vibes to the office. She’s also our resident gym-goer, weekend walker, and the kind of person who makes spreadsheets look good. Fun fact: When she’s not matching people with jobs, Beth’s smashing it on the badminton court (literally!).
Chief snuggle Officers & Morale Managers
No team is complete without four paws and a wagging tail – and we’ve got two sets! Betsy (Louise’s dog) is a little shadow with big opinions. She’s vocal, she’s loyal, and has a sixth sense for when it’s walk o’clock.
Bamford (Kitty’s pooch) takes his role as Head of People-Watching very seriously, especially if there’s a tummy tickle involved. Together they keep the office grounded, cosy, and occasionally covered in fluff. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Louise and Kitty both earned their Level 3 certification in Recruitment Practice – a fancy way of saying they really know their stuff. On everything from employment law to inclusive hiring, ethical recruitment to client care.
It’s a professional qualification from the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation), and while it’s not a requirement in this industry, we think it should be.
Because when you’re trusting someone with your career, or your next hire, you want to know they really know what they’re doing. And we do!
We’ve always got fresh opportunities popping up. From standout local roles to career-defining positions. If you’re curious about what’s out there, now’s the perfect time to take a peek.
Imagine filling your next role without sifting through 100+ CVs, juggling diaries, or second-guessing every decision. Just a handpicked shortlist of brilliant, well-matched candidates. Delivered by people who understand your business, and your time.
